Our Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs) are the life blood of our Springboard programs. These are veteran business owners who have been through the challenges of starting, running and exiting a business. They use their experiences (both good and bad) to help our entrepreneurs build a sound strategy that investors can believe in.

Paulo Rangel has experience in pharma, medical devices, and venture-backed companies and has led licensing, business planning, valuations, market research, clinical studies, fund raising and intellectual property management strategies for a number of companies. 

Greg Szabo has served as president and CEO of both private and public companies. His background includes defense and medical device companies, and he has strong experience in mergers and acquisitions, turnarounds and strategic planning. Greg has facilitated workshops and custom programs on leadership, management, accountability and team building. He is certified to train organizations on the Integrity Sales program, a proven system to inspire sales teams to higher performance levels.

Terry Bibbens is a member of our Executive Committee and has extensive experience both as a manager and as a business owner. He spent 34 years in the defense electronic-warfare business including 10 years as a CEO of his own small Silicon Valley firm, Antekna, which he grew to 200+ employees and successfully merged in a tax-free stock exchange with a NYSE listed company.

Ed Lake is a versatile executive leader and trusted advisor with a proven record of sound financial and strategic guidance in fast paced rapid growth environments across multiple industries. Through his collective experiences as a CFO, EVP of Operations and VP of Corporate Development/M&A, Ed is able to draw upon a diverse set of skills and experiences enabling him to “connect the dots” and see the whole picture from various perspectives. 

Anil Shanbhag is an accomplished manufacturing industry executive having run global businesses in a career spanning over twenty five year career. Throughout his career, he has led businesses that manufactured highly engineered, mission critical components, assemblies and systems, including those in highly regulated industries, such as aerospace and defense.

Don Tucker is a 30 year veteran of the Life Sciences, Consumer Products and technology-centric industries, with extensive strategic and operating consulting experience for industry leaders and Fortune 50 companies. As a Senior Partner (retired) with Accenture for over 26 years, had direct responsibility for guiding, consulting and advising a number of the world’s most successful global companies in the growth and complex-change phases of their businesses.
